Welcome to A Pane In The Glass. By using our website or booking our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services
A Pane In The Glass provides residential and/or commercial window cleaning and related services. All services are subject to availability and weather conditions.
2. Quotes and Pricing
  • Quotes provided online, by phone, or in person are estimates based on the information available at the time.
  • Final pricing may change if additional work is required, access is restricted, or conditions differ from what was originally described.
  • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise.
3. Bookings and Cancellations
  • Appointments can be booked through our website, phone, or email.
  • We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.
4. Access and Safety
  • The customer is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to all windows to be cleaned.
  • A Pane In The Glass reserves the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe, including but not limited to weather conditions, structural issues, or aggressive animals.
  • Delays caused by lack of access may result in additional charges.
5. Customer Responsibilities
  • Customers should remove fragile items, window decorations, and personal belongings from work areas prior to service.
  • A Pane In The Glass is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, including cracked glass, faulty seals, oxidized frames, or deteriorated materials.
6. Screens, Tracks, and Hard-Water Stains
  • Window Screens: Screen cleaning is not included in standard window cleaning unless specifically requested and quoted. While we use reasonable care, A Pane In The Glass is not responsible for damage to screens that are worn, brittle, sun-damaged, or improperly fitted.
  • Window Tracks and Frames: A basic wipe-down of accessible tracks and frames may be included. Deep track cleaning, heavy buildup, paint, debris, or neglect-related conditions require additional time and may incur additional charges.
  • Hard-Water Stains and Mineral Deposits: Hard-water stains, mineral deposits, oxidation, glass etching, or similar conditions are not included in standard window cleaning. Removal of these stains is a separate service, is not guaranteed to fully restore the glass, and may involve additional charges. Some stains may be permanent.
  • Acknowledgment: By scheduling service, the customer acknowledges that older windows, screens, and frames may have pre-existing conditions that limit cleaning results.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with our work, please notify us within 48 hours of service completion. We will make reasonable efforts to address the issue.
8. Liability
  • While we take every precaution, A Pane In The Glass is not liable for damage resulting from pre-existing defects or normal wear and tear.
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
9. Payments
  • Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept cash, check, and electronic payments.
  • Late payments may incur additional fees.
10. Website Use
  • All content on this website is owned by or licensed to A Pane In The Glass.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written permission.
11. Changes to These Terms
A Pane In The Glass reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kansas.
